Competitive Youth Soccer Coach

Eastshore Alliance FC (EAFC) is seeking professional coaches for our upcoming 2023 season.
EAFC is a premier competitive and grassroots soccer club with over 50 boys and girls competitive club soccer teams from U8-19, competing in local leagues (such as NorCal) including the NPL and ECNL-RL. EAFC also have a U7-U8 program, U3-U6 program and a dedicated grassroots program for players U12 who are interested in a recreational experience.
Primary duties include:
Managing team communication and planning;
Leading 2-3 weekly training sessions per outdoor (Fall and Spring) season. Youngers (U8-U14) have a year-round calendar (August-June), with the primary commitment in Fall and Spring. Olders (U15-U19) teams play July-November and March-June, with a break for High School play in the Winter. Start and end dates are determined by the age and level of play;
Game Day preparation and team management at games and tournaments – can be local, state, regional, or national level depending on age and competitiveness of team;
Completing seasonal player evaluations;
Conducting/leading/supporting age group tryouts; and
Attending internal staff training and meetings, and pursuing continuing education opportunities.
Ideal candidate qualities include:
Previous Club coaching experience;
Previous playing experience (club, college, pro);
Coaching certification (notably US Soccer Federation and UEFA Grassroots or above);
Basic knowledge and IT skills (Google Sheets/excel, email);
Good communication skills
Responsible, professional, and punctual; and has a growth mindset
Coaching philosophy and style consistent with the club philosophy
Ability to travel to games at weekends to coach teams
Must be authorized to work lawfully in the US
Bay Area resident preferred
