Calling all interested first time referees!
No experience needed and you do not need to be a soccer player or club member to referee for Eastshore Alliance Fútbol Club. We have a referee course coming up on August 3rd, 9AM-12PM.

To register for a course, participants must visit cnra.net/new-referee, follow the on-screen instructions, and choose “Berkeley, First time referee course” when selecting a course. Scroll down to to check out our REFEREE PAY SCALE.

We develop referees to be leaders on and off the field. Making quick decisions, giving assessments of other’s behavior and controlling dynamic situations are important leadership skills.

Keep control of the game by assessing player and coach behavior to guard player safety
Discipline those who violate the Laws of the Game or specific league Rules of Competition
Keep the flow of the game going with limited interruptions
Benefits to Becoming a Referee
Earn $35-$105 per game
Earn $100 new referee bonus after 5 games
Earn $100 bonus per 10 games you officiate
Earn work experience, develop leadership skills, and looks great on scholarship and college applications
